What implications does Facebook have for your work life? Cite any specific examples of pre-employment, and employment related issues that your or an friend/acquaintances have experienced as a result of participation in social networking?
I have not had any FB related work issues. I do construction for a living and neither by boss or company owner are members of FB. In the past, I was a sales rep for a liquour distribution company and also worked for a headhunting agency. I have not seen or heard from anyone in either of these fields.
As far as friends go, their jobs highly benefit from social networking but do not rely on it. Because they are both in the lines of sales and promotions, FB helps them when properly targeted.
